A successful marriage between foie gras and the heat of Espelette pepper
A thrilling combination of the smoothness of Duck foie gras block and the intensity of the famous Basque pepper. Espelette pepper is a protected designation of origin product, very well known in France and now throughout Europe.
The coming together of French flavors and those of the Basque Country. As our great chefs say, the important thing is to surprise and combine different flavors that one would not necessarily think of. You were probably familiar with foie gras with figs, so why not try it with pepper?
This exquisite delicacy, enjoyed by many French people, is a favorite dish that can be savored all year round on gourmet tables.
A foie gras specialty for lovers of strong sensations
This foie gras block with Espelette pepper makes it possible to prepare highly original toast toppings and is becoming increasingly popular in Paris’s “trendy” restaurants, where chefs give free rein to their imagination. For example, foie gras is sometimes spread on toast topped with quail eggs.
The legislation, which is very precise and which we strictly comply with, prevents us from displaying the Southwest foie gras logo. But naturally, the foie gras block used in this specialty is the same as that in our other foie gras blocks. The ducks are traditionally raised free-range in the Southwest of France.
