A delicate and subtle flavor that leaves no expert indifferent
In France, Goose foie gras, due to its higher price, is less popular than duck foie gras. Yet it is gourmets’ favorite foie gras, served in the finest top restaurants.
Thanks to its soft and smooth texture, this block of Goose foie gras is perfect for spreading on toast. What’s more, it makes an ideal gift for celebrating holidays and birthdays, being a delicacy appreciated by all gastronomy enthusiasts, with a long shelf life that allows it to remain good for several years.
Uncompromising foie gras quality
The Goose foie gras from southwestern France “ Foie Gras Gourmet ” is made under highly rigorous conditions designed to distinguish it from standard-quality products. The gray geese of Landes are born and raised outdoors on family farms located in the beautiful plains of Chalosse, in southern Landes, in southwestern France. Their diet consists predominantly of herbs they peck at in the fields, as well as grains, particularly corn grown on the farm.
The blocks of Goose foie gras from Landes “Foie Gras Gourmet” are made from goose livers selected and deveined by hand, then blended to achieve a uniform appearance, a fine and consistent flavor, and no visible fat.
