A robust taste and the clarity of its aromas
Many consumers confirm that this foie gras is refined, delicious, and elegant. The truth behind all this is the commitment of each producer to the preparation of every foie gras and, of course, the compliance with the regulations required by the IGP label. The IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) South-West is a European label that allows consumers to choose, with full transparency and confidence, foie gras whose geographical origin and quality are guaranteed.
The ducks are raised in the South-West near the canning sites, which facilitates frequent quality controls carried out by external organizations to ensure compliance with the specifications (impeccable hygiene of breeding and production sites, traceability, ample free-range space for the ducks).
Pré aux Canards, committed to preserving the spirit of "homemade"
The "Pré aux Canards" foie gras block is produced by a cooperative located in the south of the Tarn department, in the Haut Languedoc Regional Natural Park.
The strength of this cooperative is to control the entire supply chain, from the raising of ducks by cooperative members in the Tarn, Aude, and Aveyron departments to the canning of products in a modern building where the cooks apply traditional methods.
All "Pré aux Canards" foie gras blocks are prepared with a desire to respect the spirit of "homemade", which requires a certain level of demand but guarantees tasty and generous foie gras.
