This foie gras is characterized by a strong, smooth, and delicious taste
Foie gras is a very popular dish in France, probably one of the finest and most delicate flavors one can experience.
It is a dish enjoyed at gastronomic events and special occasions such as birthdays, Mother's Day or Father's Day, Christmas, etc. It is also perfect as a gift or as a dinner to share with your distinguished guests.
Official certification of origin and quality from the southwest
PGI ((Protected Geographical Indication) is an official certification of origin and quality, guaranteeing that the blocks of foie gras come from ducks raised free-range in the countryside of southwestern France and fed farm-grown corn.
The many tourists who visit the farms of southwestern France can see that the birds are raised in large open spaces outdoors. Visitors, who can then form their own opinions, are rarely shocked, and most of them buy foie gras.

Tasting advice
-
Foie gras in general benefits from being enhanced and brought to life with spices. You can therefore enjoy these duck foie gras blocks simply on bread or in a salad, or season them with a little salt and pepper.
- If you prefer it plain, feel free to complement it with a sweet flavor such as onion confit or fig chutney: it is a simple and quick way to enjoy foie gras. In the southwest, the local tradition is to spread a foie gras block on multigrain bread, walnut bread, or fig bread and enjoy it with a glass of good wine. Sauternes is one of the favorite accompaniments!
- Whenever you feel like indulging, pair your foie gras with pieces of black truffle; its earthy flavor gives the foie gras a unique touch.
-
This block is also ideal for foie gras preparations (sauce, tournedos Rossini).
