Grolière goose foie gras, a subtle and refined flavor
This authentic French foie gras from Grolière delights with its delicate flavor, more refined and less intense than that of Duck foie gras, making it an ideal choice for lovers of gastronomic nuances.
It must be acknowledged that many foie gras sellers purchase poor-quality foie gras from Eastern European countries to reduce costs and only package it in France. However, the designation “Oie du Périgord” guarantees that you are consuming a French product, compliant with all standards and of impeccable quality.
The Périgord goose foie gras is produced under very specific conditions designed to distinguish it from standard-quality products. The geese are raised free-range on family farms in the Périgord with access to the outdoors. They are raised over a long period and fed primarily with corn from southwestern France.
Foie gras awarded gold and silver medals
Since 1960, the Grolière company, highly renowned for the quality of its products, has grown by offering exclusively fine Périgord specialties.
Medals : Grolière whole goose foie gras won the “Palmes d'Or du Périgord” medal in 2013, 2014, and 2023 at the Fête de l’Oie in Thiviers (Périgord), a Silver Medal in 2013 at the Foie Gras Competition in Saint-Sever (Landes), and a Silver Medal at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris in 2024.
