Foie gras proudly produced in the Landes region of France
Foie Gras Gourmet goose foie gras comes from geese born and raised in France (the Landes Gray Goose is different from the Hungarian Goose) by breeders passionate about quality and who respect very precise production conditions, in order to stand out from standard-quality products.
Foie Gras Gourmet is committed to producing artisanal goose foie gras 100% sourced from the South-West of France, while meeting demanding standards that combine dignified, animal-friendly farming with fair remuneration for breeders.
Discover rare and exceptional foie gras
The most widely consumed by the French is duck foie gras, except in Alsace-Lorraine, where goose foie gras is traditionally eaten. However, every day, more and more people dare to indulge in this luxury and try delicious goose foie gras, because its flavor is milder and more delicate, and lingers longer on the palate.
The geese are free-range on family farms in the South-West of France. The rearing period is long, and the geese require a great deal of attention from the breeders as well as a quality diet. The geese are mainly fed on grass they forage in the fields, along with cereals (particularly corn from the South-West).
Flavor of whole goose foie gras
Goose foie gras has a finer, more subtle flavor that lingers longer on the palate, making it a prestigious starter, highly appreciated at festive tables and by true connoisseurs of French gastronomy.

Storage of whole goose foie gras
The use-by date is written on the back of the glass jar. However, it can be stored for several years in a cool, dry place (between 10 and 15 °C). Once opened, the foie gras can be kept in the refrigerator for several days, provided the container is tightly sealed.
Whole foie gras consists of a single piece from one foie gras. It is the highest-quality of the different types of foie gras.
